The Sunday Sip: Beer in Haiku

Posted by Conditional Love inThe Daily Brew on Sunday, August 24, 2008

As always, here’s a smattering of haikus for you, our loyal readers. Please add your own in the comments, our own are quite rudimentary - we want to hear better.

Saranac Lager

Hometown brewery
Makes easy drinking amber
Goes down smooth as silk

Molson Canadian
The beer most drank in
Canada came crashing cross
The border for you

Killian’s Irish Red

When I think Irish
Of course, I think about Coors
Oh how wrong I am

And, a few from our loyal readers…

A Celebration of Summer Ales (Mr. Greg)

Summer now half drank
ale idle in a glass mug
awaits the last sip

Have your own Beer Review Haiku? Think you can do better? (We know you can.) Feel free to leave it in the comments… we’d love to hear from you. The best will be selected next week to be featured in this same spot, so check back with us!
