This is the best tasting Pilsner we’ve ever had. Let’s get that clear up front.

The bubbles within this beer are so effervescent and playful, they should be the mascot for all of alcohol.

Upon first sip, the first thing you’ll notice is the absence of bitterness. That’s right, the Germans have managed to engineer a pilsner that’s low on smirk-face factor. Next thing you know, they’ll be building BMWs in no time.

The smell is not your standard pilsner smell, either. There are some floral notes, some fruity notes, but overall it is clean and pure. The finish of the beer does not overstay its welcome, and there is no real bite-back at the end. We can consider Warsteiner amongst the most refreshing beers we’ve ever tasted.

If pilsner is your thing, then this beer comes highly recommended.
